My friend lives in D.C. And I was on the phone today while she stocked
up on junk food for the weekend. She was stocking up for a big time
study fest so she was buying kit Kats, wine just all the bad stuff.
Well ad she is checking out the bag girl eyes her 8 pack of kit kats.
The girl then proceeds to ask her for her kit kat while I am on the
phone waiting for her to finish. I hear her say yes then she (my
friend) lowers her voice so that I can only hear "I got something to
tell you" she says. She proceeds to tell me how this random bag girl
has asked for her candy and being caught off guard she says yes. The
bag girl takes 3 of her 8 kit kats out of the pack and walks away
without finishing bagging her purchase. The audacity of some people.
It amazes me to no end.

I have never heard of a store employee doing such a thing!
What did your friend do?
She told me she agreed to let her have the candy because, she was caught off guard and thought it was a joke at first. Then when the girl actually did she was like a deer in headlights. She didn't really react until she was out of the store.
She should complain to the store. I am not one to usually be mean like that, but this is ridiculous.
